Being proactive means thinking and acting ahead - basically means predict. It's
a great way to avoid more work on the way, but can also be extremely
important to avoid disasters, planning well for the future and for the
development of methods work, study and home that make life easier not
only for you but also for others. Many of us see people as people who instigate proactive attitude and creative ideas in society. Here you'll find some suggestions to help you become a more proactive person.

One.

1

Take a good look at your responsibilities. Make yourself some questions:

* What types of tasks are scheduled or not? For example, at work, at home, during the study, etc.

* What types of tasks are aplenty?

* What types of tasks need immediate attention when they arrive?

2nd.

2

Write a critical analysis of how you would perform these tasks more efficiently. Before the next breakthrough:

* Create a plan, procedure, routine or checklist to accomplish the task.

* Recruit and instruct others to help in tasks large or urgent.

* Gather the information required to perform a task. If
the necessary information comes from a stream of people bringing tasks,
create a roadmap, a checklist or form to collect information
consistently.

* Look in the process steps that can be eliminated, consolidated or reduced.

3rd.

3

Try to prevent the emergence of problems. This means attacking potential failures in advance to prevent them from becoming a reality. Make it a habit to take action and develop workarounds.

4th.

4

Develop a mindset that seeks to solve the problems, rather than let them remain in the project. Here's how:

* Define the problem (what is it exactly?);

* Decide what needs to be done to overcome the problem and how you will do it;

* Go ahead!

5th.

5

Ahead less urgent jobs and daily. In doing so, they will be out of your way when there are more urgent things, and you will not have to worry about them. Give
special attention to preventive maintenance, even if that means
checking the oil in your car, refuel your pantry or save a little money
each week. A little effort early can save you from a major crisis in the future.

6th.

6

Know which tasks are priorities and which can wait. Create lists of daily tasks. Risque each item when it has been executed. Let this list always near you and let it drive your actions. If
you are a long time without scratching any item, reevaluate what you
have done to make sure that you actually finish the planned tasks.

7th.

7

Completely eliminate any task that is really unnecessary. Some things do not need to be done - or not must be made by you. Do not waste your time on them and not let a slight feeling of guilt you think is responsible for them. If jobs are unnecessary, not worth your effort and are just wasting energy. Be firm in making this assessment on the value of a task.

Eight.

8

Evaluate your processes and procedures while performing. What works and what does not work? Note the possible improvements to be made and incorporate them when you're calmer. Discard
what does not work, but keep an eye out to see if something needs
tweaking and make it so that the procedure or process really works.

9th.

9

Try to anticipate needs. They are periodic? There are extra activities associated with certain time of day, week, month or quarter? You can prepare in advance? Look ahead and do not fear the unknown. You can reduce the instability of the future with planning ahead and being ready for future events that are under your control.

10.

10

Try to anticipate the things you need to know. You can learn a new skill advance? You can use a skill you already have in a new way? Observe the trends around her, keep up to date by reading and learning continuously. Proactive people thrive because they are open to new experiences, and learn from the lessons of the past.

11.

11

Look for ways to automate routine tasks. Computers can manipulate data in every way possible. Even have a standard model or a plan of action can save you time. If
you work in a team, the delegation of tasks is also a form of
automation, since appoint the best person to perform a task will
automatically have it done the best way possible. So keep a system that automatically assign tasks to those best suited to them.

12.

12

Be more creative.

* Think creatively about how work is organized.

* Take notes. Do not leave without paper or pencil and something to write. Write down everything, do not rely on memory.

* Store ideas.

* Develop a strong curiosity about people, places and things.

* When talking to another person, make her feel important.

* Put the ideas into action. Remember that a reasonable idea put into action is much better than a great idea archived.

* Observe and absorb. Observe them carefully. Enjoy what you observe.

*
Although the time spent planning and organizing is not time spent on a
task required a little planning can save a lot of time during the
procedure. Be
sure to plan just because of that, because eventually, you will regret
for not having a plan to follow and lose a lot of time going back to
fix everything.

* The opposite of being reactive is being proactive. If you find yourself "putting out fires" and reacting to problems only after they arise, you see what you're doing wrong!

* Communicate, communicate, communicate. Provide support, help and find new ways to motivate your team. Earn the trust of others.

* Be persistent. Establish performance expectations.

* Find new responsibilities in your area. Make visits to other organizations and enroll in new courses.

* Take the initiative. The important thing is to act, not wait for others to do for you.

* Do not be so obsessed with planning the point of failing to act. A plan does not need to be perfect - just be instructive and motivating. Over time, you can go back and add something to it. There is no perfection, trying to reach it to get a plan is a futile effort.

* Even if anticipating, we must be ready to react if something unforeseen arises. Flexibility is a positive trait, essential for a proactive person. Being proactive means to anticipate and prepare for all possible outcomes, and not control your future.
